I Am A: Lawful Good Human Fighter (3rd Level)
Ability Scores:
Strength-15
Dexterity-14
Constitution-14
Intelligence-12
Wisdom-16
Charisma-14
Alignment: Lawful Good A lawful good character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. He combines a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. He tells the truth, keeps his word, helps those in need, and speaks out against injustice. A lawful good character hates to see the guilty go unpunished. Lawful good is the best alignment you can be because it combines honor and compassion. However, lawful good can be a dangerous alignment because it restricts freedom and criminalizes self-interest.
Race: Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.
Class: Fighters can be many things, from soldiers to criminal enforcers. Some see adventure as a way to get rich, while others use their skills to protect the innocent. Fighters have the best all-around fighting capabilities of the PC classes, and they are trained to use all standard weapons and armor. A fighter's rigorous martial training grants him many bonus feats as he progresses, and high-level fighters have access to special melee maneuvers and exotic weapons not available to any other character.

I've got news! Me and Nathalie have a phone number! (And yes, I know some of you already read Nathalie's post!)
Anyhow, the phone number is 613-421-7769. I chose the number because 6095 and 5625 were already taken, the guy said I could only pick something in the 7000s and up. I picked 7777, but that was taken, so he said 7769 and I picked it. It has 69 in it, yeah, I know.
So anyways, that's it peeps. That's all I gots for now. Hopefully I'll see you all at Nathalie's birthday tomorrow!

I finally got my desk set up the way I wanted, so I finally have a decent work area to write posts. . . amongst other things. Me and my Dad found this desk in the garage when me and Nathalie moved in. It was pretty beat up (the people who owned this thing taped up the drawers so they wouldn't fall out when they moved it.) So it had all sorts of scuffs, scratches, leftover tape, etc. . . So me and my Dad sanded it then spraypainted it black. Now I have a four drawer desk that I got for about 17$ (the cost of the sanding meterials and spraypaint.)
Slowly, but surely, things are shaping up around here. I'm done with the basement; everything's set up down there. The kitchen is almost done. Willow's room is as good as it's gonna get for now, same for the office and tv room. So really, all that's left is to finish the living room still full of boxes (Nathalie's stuff mostly) and our bedroom.
We're definately planning a house warming party. Maybe not now, but at least by the end of of July, we're planning to thrown a bash in honor of the new house.
Also, me and Nathalie have been in talks with Lindsay about going to La Ronde in Montreal on July 8th. Hoorah! It'll make up for the fact that I'm working Canada Day. :( Oh well.
That's about it for now. We've both been very busy, so really, that's all there is to report for now. You guys take it easy and we'll see you all very soon!

. . .
Done? Good!
Me and Nathalie are scheduled to move on June 4th. The previous tenants are moving out in lare May, and it'll take them that long to fix up the place for us. Obviously they're taking care of all the minor restorations, but what's great is that they're going to revarnish our hardwood floors and paint the house the colors we want. . . well. . . the colors Nathalie wants, but like I'd care anyways.
The house is huge. It's open concept, so everything is open, no small hallways or anything. The living room is giant and well fit to entertain. There are four bedrooms upstairs and 1.5 nathrooms. Obviously we'll be taking the Master, another will be for Willow, one will be an office and the last one a den for tv and such.
Because the unit is so huge, the basement, while unfinished is monstrously big. We have a washer and dryer and plenty of storage. It also has a garage which is pretty big inside, and should easily accomodate my van. Oh, and a laneway, albeit miniscule. The visitor's parking is right across our unit for those visiting and the backyard even has planters!
That's all that comes to mind right now, but you'll all see it soon enough. With all of me and nat's friends though, I wonder how many house warming parties we'll have to hold, lol.

| | The theme from 24 | ] | I feel like updating. No, no, don't alert the media. That's even if people still read this.
I've been working lately. Alot of people use that excuse, but I'm still gonna use it. For the last three months, I've been living what could almost be described as the typical adult life. I wake up in the morning for the typical 8 to 5 (or 12 to 8, depending on the day of course) where afterwards I proceed to Nathalie's apartment where she waits for me with dinner on the table. We eat and then put Willow to bed, only to watch movies or episodes of 24 or 6 Feet Under. On weekend, I find myself taking care of Willow and doing the typical Saturday thing, provided the guys aren't working. Strangely enough, that's about as typical a life you can get.
Me and Nathalie are looking for a house too. We applied at the Ideal Village Co-op here in Orleans (for those of you who don't know what a housing co-op is, it's a housing community where you need to be accepted as a member. Once accepted, you get a house. Membership, though, means responsibility. Every month, you need to volunteer on commitees; landscaping, maintenace, ruling, etc... The membership time is what keeps the costs down. Opposite to popular belief, it is not low income housing. The low costs DO come at a cost in the form of your time.) Anyhow, we applied, and after a lengthy application and interviewing process, we were accepted. . . .. . ... . ..... to be on the waiting list. They think that they'll finally get to us in 2007. So much for that. So me and Nathalie are going to look in Blackburn where there are townhouse complexes that are maybe 5$-100$ more expensive than the co-op, but they're not co-ops. Blackburn is cheap, but still accessible. Here's hoping. And don't worry, dear reader, chances are, you're invited to the house warming party.
I've been finding myself without games to play. Aside from recently finishing Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and recently getting 24: The Game, I've found myself writing more. I finished a chapter in Ultimate Story and starting my third and final short story currently named; KLIQ: Untitled. I have yet to find a suitable name for it. One that marks the finality of it, but also with an element of rebirth. Any suggestions?
Well, that pretty much sums up what I've been up to. The job is fine, as always. Everyone around me is fine too. No break downs... well, not that I know of yet. So life is about as typical as it can get. I'll see you down the road; hopefully, I'll have more exciting things to say by then. . . Later!

| | Vegas - I don't remember | ] | So I think out of the whole city of Ottawa, I was the only one working today. Frankly, I was glad because it meant clear roads for me. It took me less than 20 minutes to get back home from the West End. Score!
I've been on my own for starting-on four weeks now at work and I have to admit I love it. Although, in the back of my mind, I'm always thinking that this is still just the easy part, that the hard part is coming soon. But strangely enough, this IS the hard part. My first month on my own where I have only myself to count on SHOULD be the hardest part. Thinking of it, things should get easier with time. But there's always that fear of that unsolveable problem, or that one, big fuck-up. But I try not to think of it. This job is still too good to be true.
I got so many tools this Christmas. My parents assure me that one day, I'll be thankful that I have them, and I agree. They're all lifetime guaranteed, and once I move out, they'll be indespensible. I got quite a few movies (from myself as well, lol), and a few articles of clothing from that special someone. Luckily, it's all stuff I can wear, and will be happy to wear. Willow got almost 10 gifts from my family. Geez, when you're 3, EVERYONE wants to get you a present!!
We had out annual KLIQ dinner that went rather well last Friday. Thanks to Amanda for hosting, and Oli for cooking and organising. Saturday I went to my aunt's in Rockland and Sunday to my Uncle's. Me, Nathalie and Ian went to see Narnia on Sunday, which surprised me as being awesome.
It's nice having everyone in town; it just sucks to have to work all day. I'm free Friday peeps, phone me up!
Also, I dunno what's going on for New Years, but I would like to know soon. I'll probably open up my place, but we'll see what others have to say first. Ah well, here's to the end of a long, overdrawn and depressing year... with a hint of happy ending!

| | Because of You - Kelly Clarkson | ] | Hello peeps, I'm back.
There were quite a few goings-on this week, and only now do I have the time to just sit here and tell you some of it. To those who still read this journal anyways, which, in all honesty, am really curious about.
My cell phone. The number is (613) 513-6095. Sometime soon, it will replace my home line of (613) 834-9331. So that number will soon be out of service. I SHOULD always have my phone on me, but that's not always possible; especially at home. So, calling (613) 834-9568 (my parents line) is okay if you have a feeling I'm home, but just not near my phone.
My trip to Toronto. It was fabulous. The drive seemed like nothing at all, there were absolutely no problems with my van (thank God!), and everything went off without a hitch. Me and Nathalie checked in at the Novotel downtown around 8pm; there was a king sized bed and the regular hotel things, very typical. After a little down time, we got ready and took a cab to the CN Tower for our dinner reservations at 9:30pm. It was absolutely gorgeous up there with the lights spanning in every single direction. Very romantic too. Nathalie and I toasted to our One Year anniversary and had a delicious meal. Interestingly enough, I ordered potato salad for an appetizer and I ended up getting giant, yukon gold fries, stacked in a square with salad shoved in it. It was odd, but truly appetizing. Once I got the multi-hundred dollar bill (I WISH I was kidding, lol), we took a walk on the observation deck and stomped on the glass floor. We took a rickshaw ride back to the hotel under the light of the stars and downtown TO. We went back to the hotel and immediately got into bed. We ordered "The 40 Year Old Virgin" on PPV, which was hilarious. We went to sleep shortly after that.
Second Day. I took a dip in the pool around 11am, before getting ready to check out. We were out of there by about 1pm and on our way to Nathalie's sister's. We settled in and I helped them fix their cable (who knew these skills would come in handy, lol). Marie, Nat's sister, said it was our payment for letting us stay at her place. Shortly after, Nat went out with her sister to talk business and I went out to meet my friend Amanda at the University. Amanda and I haven't properly seen each other since August, so she was surprised when I told her about my job, my car, my relationship, my facial hair, the gang back home, etc. We had lunch at a Sushi place and I escorted her back to her work. We talked there a little more and I headed back. We lounged at Marie's and then eventually took the tram to an asian restaurant where we had dinner. We had a few drinks with Marie's friends afterwards and then headed back for bed. On our way, we passed by Nathan Phillips Square (TO city hall) and I casually mentioned to Nathalie, "Wouldn't it be cool if they made a movie where some hot chick runs down the side of this building with a rope attached?" People who've seen Resident Evil: Apocalypse will get that one.
Third day. We slept in 'till 10:30am about. Marie and her friends hadn't come in till 6am, so they were quite unresponsive. In the brief moment we got Marie conscious, she recommended a nice little restaurant on Queen West where they had brekfast burritoes and giant shakes. We went, had the shakes and the burrito. It was yummy. We left Toronto shortly after that. I had overpayed for parking (even though they had the best parking rates EVER! 5$ = 24hrs!) so I gave the ticket to one of Marie's friends, it was good through the 29th. We were on the road by 2pm, encountered a little TO traffic (on a Sunday!), and had a smooth ride back. Over the ten hours in all in the car over the weekend, me and Nathalie shared some pretty in-depth conversations. It's amazing what you'll talk about on long trips like that. By the time I got home, I was beat. I went to bed and was content in a succesful weekend trip!
Work. This is my last week as a trainee. As of Monday, I'm out there on my own. We've been reviewing stuff all week, but today and tomorow, we're doing tag alongs with each other; so basically, two trainees teaming up. It went good today. I also had my ladder racks installed and am getting all my supplies tomorow. It's almost time!
Misc. A friend of mine is running his own production company from home. We met in College. He gave me a DVD with an eight minute short they produced and directed. It's hilarious, so hilarious that it's gotten them some attention from Comedy Network. Congrats Nick and good luck! Also, I have a Rogers tech gathering this Friday, it shouldn't take the whole night, but for anyone looking for me, I'll be unavailable most of that night. Speaking of gatherings, Oli sent me the invites for the annual KLIQ Christmas dinner. It's something me and my friends hold every year and hope to see some of you there. In fact, there's alot of people I'd like to see over the next month. Call me if the mood strikes you. I'm working 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday 'til the new year.
That's about it for now. PHEW! This was a long one. Till next time folks!

| | Pushing Me Away - Linkin Park | ] | Greetings everyone!
It's a lazy Saturday afternoon and I have yet to get to my chores. But of course, I have to update my LJ every once in a while!
Some funny things have happened in the last few weeks involving my recently acquired van. Anyhow, thank God, but everything is working fine now, but it almost seemed like at one point or another, there was something new that went wrong every day! Like last week, I'm helping my brother by driving him, Erik and his motor hoist back to Rockland to cousin's place when my car runs out of gas! Granted, there was no indication that there was no gas in there since my gas gauge was on the fritz. That problem was supposed to be fixed the following day. After walking back and forth between the Ultramar station, we got some gas back in it, but it still wouldn't start! Apparently the fuel pump broke and thus the car was screwed for then, along with us! After a few hours of standing around and wrestling in the grass, Jazou's friend came and picked us up in a car with a suspension that sounded like a squeaky bed with two people doing it.
Anyhow, from there, we got Dilawri's to agree to tow it back into Ottawa and fix it to. Which was nice. I picked it up a few days ago, and aside from a few cosmetic problems, it runs like a dream. It should be getting refitted for my ladder racks soon.
On that note, work is going fine as well. It's nice to know that I'll ever only be working either 0800 to 1700 or 1200 to 2000. I will work some weekends, but there's no evening shifts on weekends and I get every second weekend off! These ride alongs are great to. You get to see a wide variety of housing in Ottawa. I also hang out with very potty mouthed techs. I noticed myself swearing more too, better look into that :S lol.
Bleach is a very awesome show to get pumped up to. I need to do alot more exercise and eat a helluva lot better. This growing tummy of mine is starting to scare me. I remembered saying to myself all my life, I'll never become fat! I'll never be the one who gets the beer belly! Before I truly start going back on my word, I need to get out and exercise more!!
Also, there's a lack of video games, but yet, I still find myself not writing as much as I would like. I was wondering if there was anyone out there who wanted to proof read/edit and criticize my latest short story which is Martin M. Richer's KLIQ: Supremacy. It's been done for like four months now and I've already gone through it a few times. What I want is for someone to read it and tell me where I should trim and elongate or explain things better. Any volunteers? I'm serious though, I don't want someone to read half of it in a month and let it go. I'm looking for full-read and feedback in two weeks or less! Anyhow, just let me know guys!
I think that's all I gotta say for now. I miss alot of you out there and Christmas vacation is coming soon! Also, I'm gonna take a trip up to Toronto with Nathalie on the 25th of November. I'm a little excited. I need to get away from everything, if only for a weekend. So much has been going on the last few months that I need to let it all sink in.
Have a great month guys!

Anyhow, alot of my time has also been attributed to getting my Chevy Venture! I definitely don't reccommend the used-car shopping experience. It was one of the most frustrating and emotionally and physically draining experiences, but we settled with the Venture from Dilawries. It's a 1999, red with 120000km. A great car. Too bad it's already in for repairs. ^_^ I'll be getting it back in a few days. Plus getting insurance wasn't a picnic either. But it's over now, and I own a car!

I'm really glad at how easily I'm getting through the training. We're in class with contractors (guys who work for companies contracted to Rogers). There's a HUGE difference in attitude between us and the contractors (Us being in-house Rogers techs). Since there's about a 30% pay difference between us and the contractors, they tend to do quick shotty work so that they can do more work in a day and get more money for it. Anyhow, all the people I've talked to say that HES (Home Entertainment Specialist, whay I am) is where all the money is. I can make upwards of 200$ a day. . . This is still a little extreme for me. I'm not used to things going this right, lol. ^_^
Anyhow, I guess that's all I got for now. It's getting cold and Halloween is almost upon us! I love Halloween! Someone should throw a Costume Party!

| I love Halloween |
[Sep. 29th, 2005|11:29 am] |
| [ | mood |
| | cheerful | ] | It's true, Halloween is coming soon; truly one of my fav holidays!
Also, my birthday is upon us which will be not this monday, but the next one after that. Party planning, people? Perhaps the Saturday or even the Sunday! Maybe not as huge as last year, but definately, a nice dinner in Orleans and whatever else afterwards!
Also, I got a call from a reputable communications company the other day offerring me a poaition as a CABLE INSTALLER!! YES! That's right! I got the ROGERS cable guy job at 45K a year and I start this coming Monday! I must say I'm a little excited! Might not be the last job I have; I do have some future plans, but it will be my last job for at least the next two years... AT LEAST! I'm so happy and everything is falling into place! I already quit Sitel and I'm on vacation 'til Monday! Hoorah!
Anyhow, for the title of the post, here we are;
